BREAKING: ANINRI PDP EXTENDS OLIVE BRANCH TO MEMBERS,CALL FOR UNITY OF THE PARTY
The newly elected People's Democratic Party Chairman Aninri Local Government Area Hon. Chief Afam Christian Okafor (Afachris) led his executive members on peace mission, calling for the aggrieved party members to sheath their sword for peace to reign and further paid homage to foundation members of the party.
The team visited one of the founding fathers of PDP and former NEC member *Chief David Orjinworie* at his country home Uhueze Nenwe .The visit aimed to ascertain the wellbeing of the statesman and aquaint him with the new executive of the party.
Chief Afam Okafor in his speech thanked God for the life of chief David Orjinworie and assured his readiness to reconcile every aggrieved members of the party for more peaceful, united and indivisible Aninri People's Democratic Party.
The elder statesman *Chief David Orjinworie* expressed happiness and high hopes for the new executive for remembering him while he narrated the historic creation of the council and sue for growth , peace and progress of the party and enjoin the new executive to always make Aninri proud.

However, the emergence of Afam Okafor as party chairman in Aninri also attracted a solidarity visits of Umurah youths ably led by Mr. Ukagu Vincent.The group presented beautiful portrait to Hon Chief Afam Okafor and expressed great confidence in his capacity and pledged to be part of the success story ahead of 5th of October, 2024 local government election.
In a similar development,the former Leader of Aninri Legislative Arm and councilorship candidate of Ndeabor ward Rt .Hon Igwe Philip Ikechukwu and the entire newly elected Ndeabor ward executive also paid solidarity visit to felicitates with the victory of their son Hon. Afam Okafor as the newly elected PDP Chairman . The former leader who spoke on behalf of the team assured of their unwavering support to the party and emphasized that there are hopes ahead of the party since the leadership is under a man with wisdom, knowledge and experience.
